療養中心的多功能生態花園
DELVA與未來的居民、社區和建筑合作伙伴一起，在荷蘭皮爾默倫德Genuahaven創建了一個生活護理綜合體“Heel Europa”的庭院花園。這是一個特殊的由年輕初創企業投資的老年人或受扶養人居住的綜合體，兒童保育設施也在整個系統中占有一席之地。

這個封閉的花園是整個韋德文南（Weidevennen）社區的活躍中心，只在白天對公眾開放。年輕的成年人、癡呆患者和生活能力較差的人會通過娛樂活動，如擲球游戲、園藝，或只是坐在位于花園的餐廳的露臺上相見放松。這個綜合體起到了一個很好的樞紐作用，位于韋德文南的新建區域和歷史悠久的皮爾默倫德城市中心之間。連接這兩個實體建筑之間的人行道貫穿整個公共花園。

經過深思熟慮后的設計以及步行路線的定位，最終在繁忙的場所旁邊創造出了一片寧靜的空間。該設計的基礎是讓居民參與活動，然后讓他們保持活躍。這也使得各代人之間的自發和有價值的接觸成為可能。這個花園有自己的溫室、鳥舍、花瓣庭院、棋盤、運動和娛樂機會，還有一個大型的植物花園。

該設計為庭院提供了許多功能，如擲球區、露天象棋、花園、菜園、露臺和座位區，此外，該設計還提供了可以由居民自主填充的空間。居民可利用樹籬自己決定什么是需要的以及它應該在花園的什么地方。在這一過程中，DELVA景觀公司組織了各種各樣的參與活動，讓附近的學校居民參與進來，因此，我們可以說這個設計是與未來的居民共同合作開發的。
